In the fourth quarter of 2023, the top five fitness and weight loss apps on iOS in Mexico exhibited varied performance in terms of downloads, revenue, and weekly active users. Below are the key insights, based on data from Sensor Tower.

HUAWEI Health showed a significant increase in downloads, starting from around 5.9K in late September and peaking at approximately 14.9K in the last week of December. Weekly active users hovered around 18K at the beginning of the quarter, dipped slightly in October and November, and ended the quarter at about 16.8K.

Smart Fit App experienced a fluctuating download trend, with numbers ranging from 3.5K to 7.8K. The highest download figures were recorded at the end of September. Weekly active users remained relatively stable, starting at nearly 49.3K and seeing a slight decline to 44.7K by the end of December.

Da Fit had a gradual increase in downloads, beginning with about 3.5K in late September and reaching close to 9.9K by the end of December. The app's weekly active users also showed a positive trend, starting at 48.6K and rising to 64.2K over the quarter.

Sweatcoin Walking Step Counter saw a notable increase in revenue, starting at $201 in late September and peaking at $251 in mid-December. Downloads demonstrated an upward trend, starting at 2.2K and reaching around 6.7K by the end of the quarter. Weekly active users increased from 26.2K to 27.8K over the same period.

BetterMe: Health Coaching generated substantial revenue, starting at about $15.4K in late September and fluctuating throughout the quarter, ending at $11.7K in the last week of December. Downloads varied, with a peak of roughly 5.2K in early December. Weekly active users started at 14.8K and saw fluctuations, closing the quarter at approximately 15.8K.
